Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Teams Up with Donate My Card™

An opportunity to give support to the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA — The Girls Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA) has signed on with Donate My Card™ to provide an opportunity for Girl Scouts' supporters to give to an organization that has been developing girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place for 99 years.

Donate My Card allows the remnant values on gift and pre–paid debit cards to be donated to its partner charities, like The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. Americans purchase more than $130 billion in gift and pre–paid debit cards every year, and it is estimated that 5–10% of the purchased value remains unused on these cards. In fact, industry statistics point to more than $25 billion in remnant values, money that can now be used to the great benefit of non–profit organizations who are especially in need in this troubled economy.
